Here is the free kick against Chivas on October 3rd of 2010...which would be just under 7 months.

Ah, yes nice example actually. I remember that was the injury that put him out of the world cup squad.

I think he was back on the ice in less than 4 months.
That's another one.
Williams had surgery on September 18th of 2008 and returned to the ice on December 4th of 2008.

That is when I said the earliest he would come back in, late December. Not that he would not play at all this year.
Wally Williams and Johnny Unitas did, both had complete tears not a small 2cm partial tear near calf muscle. Thats just off the top of my head. Johnny was back in 4 1/2 months led the Colts to SB.

So your choice is no?

Search my posts, I have gone into great detail about it after a lot research.
Once you have surgery it is same recovery time regardless, does not matter. The procedure and recovery time is exactly the same no matter how bad the tear is.
Stop listening to Suggs, and anyone else who claims otherwise. Listen to objective sports medicine doctors, the ones who actually perform the procedure and who live in reality, not pie in the sky superman type worlds pro athletes tend to live in.
Dude you are wrong. There is a big difference between a partial and a full tear in reguards to rehabbing. A partial tear is a much less invasive surgery than a full tear. The big difference between the two is the rehab time. With Suggs partial tear he began rehabbing much sooner than afull tear. What i mean by that is stretching which doesn't sound like much but it is a big part of the rehab for an achilles. Thus will enable him to get on the field sooner. So yes there is a difference.
