Re: Goose wanted Bisciotti to choose Rex over Harbs
Rex was Goose's d-line coach when he got his ring. Why wouldn't he have wanted Rex as the head coach? Guys love playing for Rex. At the time though, the ravens needed a change of culture. And they definately got that with Harbs. He's done a phenomenal job. 4 straight playoffs and 2 afcc games. Cant argue with those results.

I doubt Ray would agree with that view.
I would hardly say that single play cost us the game.

The difference:
The difference:
A player would go ballistic and scream his vitriol at Harbaugh. John would listen patiently to the rant (while inwardly seething) and reply in soft tones, "I appreciate what you're saying and will give it consideration." An hour later, he'd release him.
Rex would begin throwing punches...
Re: Goose wanted Bisciotti to choose Rex over Harbs
It is not surprising that a Ravens defensive player wanted Rex to be the head coach. I have yet to, however, hear one Ravens offensive player say that they wanted Rex to get the job.

Had Ray simply left him alone, it would have fourth down and we would have run the clock out for the win.
Not to get off topic but Ray's hit was on a first down play.
(ist and ten from the 50 yd line)
We still could have stopped them from the 35 yd line with 48 seconds left in the game.
There was also a Frank Walker pass interference play after that that hurt also.

We don't have any offensive players from the Billick era though, apart from Marshal Yanda who was drafted in the year Billick got fired anyway. And of course someone would want a guy who coached you for a long time to become the HC, that's just human nature. It's like if Harbaugh quit the HC job this year, I'm sure a bunch of offensive players on this team would be screaming for Cam to become the new HC.
Or maybe not....
but you get my point. (he'd probably get a vote from Rice and Leach.)

Goose is a moron. There, I said it.

I can't say a negative word about the guy. I was at that TN game when he was carried off the field on a stretcher and things looked bad. Second half my son and I noticed he was back in the freakin game. What a baller
