THIS. He doesn't say he WANTS to stand there and do nothing. He's saying that that's what the play design calls for -- for him to stand there, and do nothing.
(And by the time this truth surfaces, a WHOLE LOTTA SHIT is gonna hit the fan first. Bank on it. In fact, Preston and Schmuck have already thrown fuel on the fire, and I'm sure this is just the beginning.)

its funny this board is smarter than the ravens O coaches. we (myself and Joe Wedra) brought up the idea of using the wildcat and tyrod more and guess what happened the last game?
i swear its like they get their offensive game plan from this board. i say give some suggestions to caldwell if he is reading this board...
