He's having quite the offseason
He always looks smart in his glasses and perfectly pressed clothes but Miller sure doesn't act smart.
It's funny how all the off-season drama of the Ravens (Lewis retiring, Reed leaving, trading Boldin, and now camp injuries, etc.) seems to spell a long season for the Ravens in the minds of many media prognosticators.
And yet the Broncos ship just seems to sail merrily along in their eyes notwithstanding Miller's troubles, coaches in trouble, effing up the Dumervil re-signing, their own camp injuries, etc.
I am not saying that they are right or wrong...the Ravens may indeed falter this season and the Broncos may well win 14 games, I don't know...I just find it curious how some news is magnified and other news seems to be glossed over.
how'd they know he was at the Centennial Gun Club?
This won't do him any favors with his appeal.
His appeal is scheduled for tomorrow. Not the news you want just before you plea for leniency. Agree, not a smart move on his part.
Well, even if the appeal goes favorably, at least we have him for the first game. I'd imagine that at most they would reduce the suspension, not eliminate it altogether.
Good call this is exactly what happened. Listening to Sirius NFL and they have someone on from the Denver Post right now. He also states that the story about Miller missing the test is not accurate he failed it. And he says there is no hearing or decision today and no meeting with the NFL so I'm not exactly sure where this stands
