Couldn't just add it to the FA thread, could you? Had to push the buttons, didn't you? :rolling:
Well, we know his back is perfectly healthy now, according to him, his agent, and whichever physician his agent has on his payroll. Afterall, it is always perfectly healthy when he is shopping for deals. But as soon as the ink is dry on the contract, you can bet on a sudden 'spasm' in the lumbar area and doctor's orders of plenty of rest, no physical activity.
Even the league minimum is too much for me. If we could get around paying the league minimum (I know we can't), and could offer him $500 per snap, I would consider using/wasting the roster spot.
I'd call both him and Mckinnie for a visit.
When they get here, lock them in a cage. Whoever leaves gets the starting job. See if either of them is motivated enough to do anything other than sit on their ass and complain.
But wait I thought he had a legitimate injury. :261695:
The rumors were that the Chargers were going to keep him because of that cap hit. Other players on the team made it very clear that they don't want Gaither there.
Any team that signs Gaither is completely insane. He should not be in the NFL.
Signing Gaither is like marrying your 1st wife again. After a while you say to yourself, "Oh Oh, that's why I divorced her." I'd pass... Bc
