My brother is a big Patriots fan. He's been pushing my buttons all week. He's betting that Jacoby drops the winning touchdown this year. I'm telling him that it will be Welker.
He's lives in Denver and had more confidence than I did that we would beat the Broncos. He also thought that this would be a much tougher game for his Pats so there isn't any disrespect like I read from most Pats fans.
My friend the Pats fan has been complimentary all week and says it can go either way. We've had good discussions this week.
Is it bad that I will be setting my DVR and hiding in a cocoon of blankets for 3 hours Sunday night? I'm 38 but watching live for me would be the equivalent of a 10 year old watching The Exorcist.
I've lost count how many times this week I've replayed the 70-yard TD pass from the Denver game. It just hasn't gotten old yet.
I have a lot of confidence, and haven't really thought about it too much. Its really just another game. Someone is going to make plays and I am hoping its our guys. I think we learned from last year's experience in NE.
Time to watch last weeks game again on DVR....
Feel the same - it's a struggle, particularly on Mon/Tues at work. Now, it's ramping up again.
Made sure I've got the monday after the Superbowl off just in case...
