Agree with HR. Out of the thousands of positive plays Ray made over nearly two decades, why do people obsess over an illegal one that helped contribute to a loss?
How was it illegal? Because he left his feet?
Very emotional day for. The best overall athlete (on and off the field) that has ever lived period.
Lunging at a defenseless receiver, impacting the head (note, this doesn't mean helmet to helmet, it doesn't matter what part of your body you use, you can't hit a defenseless receiver in the head.)
We regularly lambast Ryan Clark on this board for being a dirty player for hits just like that one. Ray isn't dirty because frankly, after he got called for this one, he adjusted and the Keller hit is an example of just how to legally dislodge the ball in that scenario.
Negative. He left his feet but the hit wasn't illegal based on league rules. His shoulder pad hit Chad's shoulder pad and he was airborne when he hit Ray. No different than Bernard Pollards earlier this year on the sideline.

mixed emotions! I miss him already. feels like I'm going to a funeral for someone that is so alive!
Anyone else watching A Football Life Ray Lewis on NFLN? Already seen it, but I can't watch it enough. I can't freaking wait until Sunday!
