sounds like Banner is serious about getting pieces in place right after the season ends. And I would be shocked if he'd even consider Vick.
I hope so.
And here I thought the Browns were getting their act together...
I'd be surprised if the Browns went for Vick, especially with new management coming in. But it's hard to speculate where he'll end up. He claims he wants to go somewhere to be a starter, but I question the odds of that happening (barring injury to someone else). Younger teams who need a QB, such as the Chiefs, might address that through the draft. If you're a young team looking to build to contention, why go with an older and injury-prone Vick?
Although I don't think it will happen, I'd LOVE to see the NY Jesters sign Vick. Every circus thrives with a new sideshow.
From what I've read, the Jets are in a cap nightmare situation with Sanchez. Giving him that big extension made absolutely no sense, and the Jets front office has to be suffering from buyer's remorse. Releasing Sanchez would actually hit them much harder cap-wise in 2013 than keeping him. The article you list talks about a possible trade, but that prospect is hindered -- again -- by Sanchez's contract and the money involved. I guess anything could happen, though.
