I didn't see the presser, just what I read. I gave them up do to blood pressure/health concerns.
That being said, and I cannot believe I am the one saying this, maybe the Mayan's are right, but what did you expect? Did you think he was going to come out sunshine and smiles after canning Cam? I mean is that the "evidence" that is being presented that it was Bisciotti's decision?
I mean, I got shouted down when I indicated that Steve may be a meddlesome owner after the way the Billick firing went down, now I am reading some of the same type of posts indicating just that.
Either way, the writing is on the wall, be it John or Steve's hand, making the playoffs is not enough in Baltimore, something I have been saying for years.
I'm sure the Raven players morale needed this boost. It's a breathe of fresh air. I am pretty sure their would of been mutiny if Cam was back on the sidelines. It gives Caldwell a few games to get his feet wet. Not like he is a rookie at this, been watching the team all year and been in football a long time. HE CANT BE WORSE. I assume this is done to also see what Joe can be like in his last 4 games without being under the rock of Cam Cameron. They need to evaluate Joe with CC for his contract and future going forward. Wish it happened weeks ago.
Fish stinks from the head.
I certainly do believe Harbs is on the hot seat, and if there is no improvement under Caldwell that Harbs could be seeing the door to. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I am tired of watching every game pacing the room going "why does every game have to end like this"
exactly they are not going to raise their hands, besides you can't change the system now its too late for that its about making adjustments, diggin out plays in that old ass playbook of cam's to see what works to the strength of the unit rather than drive that sqaure peg in the round hole.
