It is true that you cannot overlook ANY team in the NFL. Any given Sunday. That said, the Raiders better bring more than what they are showing tonight.
On the flipside, the Chargers are looking very tough. Hopefully, we are 3-0 by the time we play SD at home.
One sad part of this is that the Raiders soon-to-be-former OL coach is Irv Eatman, former LT of the USFL Baltimore Stars.
BS
The game this Sunday should be brutal for the Raiders. Still I hope the Ravens don't take this team lightly. The guys need to go out there and play this game like it's their last. Hopefully we can get up big by the 4th quarter and rest some of the starters to keep them rested and ready to kick some Clownie ass!
The Ravens will be overconfident and the Raiders will be fired up. Our team will start out slow and their team will start out on fire.
But I still think we'll win.
We very well could start out slow, but after watching the game tonight I don't see the Raider starting out on fire. They couldn't even get started in their own stadium. The purple palace will be rocking after destroying the Bucs in Tampa. I honestly can see the Ravens having another performance like last Sunday.Quote:

One game at a time people . . . let's not tempt the Football Gods. You know how wacky they are :nerd:
9 sacks? Does that mean the Cody will be active this week? Unleash Cody and Suggs -- oh my.
I'm not taking anything for granted, but the Raiders have nothing going for them in this game. They have a short week, they have to fly from the west coast for an early east coast game, it's our home opener, and they are coming off a terrible offensive performance and have to face a very good defensive team. We will be heavy favorites. I'm curious to see what the spread will be.
129 total yards gained?
9 sacks allowed??
And that was the home opener for Oakland?
And they have to travel cross-country on short rest to face the Ravens' D?
Oh my, indeed.
Let's not forget how juiced up the crowd will be. I can't wait for the fly over.
LET'S GET LOUD!!!!!!!
