Exactly. PFT invents issues and so does the OP.

You guys are crazy. Big Jen is pissed, plain and simple.
How would Ben not know what they want from the offense? It should be clear and he shouldn't have to go to Rooney's office for that. He should be able to go to Tomlin's office. He'll go to Rooney's office and Rooney will remind him of how much the organization has supported him. Ben will, then, quietly exit Rooney's office.
When the Ravens got rid of Zorn, Flacco spoke out too. They'll move on and adjust the same way people do in all businesses.
It was a pretty tough year for that offense, they looked putrid against some mediocre teams (Chiefs Browns) but still got the wins (sound familiar?)
He's married now, so I'm sure BA leaving has had an affect on him. Ben will get away with what ever he can, as long as he is the QB.
Oh dear Lord PLEASE hire Haley!!!

I would pay money to see Jen and Haley butting heads all year, talk about oil and water. I would set the over/under on a sideline blowup at week 3. I can see Haley going ballistic in about 3 seconds flat when Roethlisberger tells him how to run an offense.Quote:
With Jim Caldwell landing in Baltimore, we know he won’t be the next Steelers offensive coordinator.
One man who could wind up landing that job is former Chiefs head coach Todd Haley. Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports that Mike Tomlin has been reaching out around the league to gather information about Haley, who has been linked to jobs with the Cardinals and Jets this offseason without landing in either place. The Steelers parted ways with Bruce Arians, now running the Colts offense, earlier this month.
Arians’ departure reportedly rankled quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who said that he wanted to meet with team president Art Rooney II to discuss where the offense was heading and, possibly, lobby for quarterback coach Randy Fichtner’s promotion. Part of the thought process behind Fichtner is that he would maintain the passing offense that the Steelers have been using for the last season.
Now you see why teams are sometimes stingy with their assistants. Good assistants are not easy to come by.
Wow, Haley would be interesting... He comes off as a very good coach and a horrible person
