He's off the PUP list after 6 games, doubt he'll be playing that soon though.

I think those refs would have needed an armed escort out of Baltimore.
It's amusing by the way, how many Pats fans are whining it wasn't good on ESPN's site.

I thought he was on the Designated to return IR?

Nah they placed him on the PUP list unless something has changed since then.

Re: Ravens Pats game thread
Welp. I'm gonna go ahead and say a few things:
1. I would not have taken a win or a loss seriously after watching how embarassingly terrible the officiating was tonight. I mean I could pick and choose all the terrible calls and non calls (on both sides) but nothing was more infuriating than watching 3rd down stop after 3rd down stop being extended by 5 yard automatic first down holding calls. And the OPI on Edelman? The unsportsmanlike conduct called on Harbaugh? What an embarrassment of a game.
2. The field goal was good by the rules, but if the goal post extends a little higher I don't think it's good. By the rules though the field goal being good was the right call.
3. The Patriots play calling is horrendous, especially towards the end of the game trying to run out the clock. I hate that I no longer have the faith I used to have in Brady trying to ice the game. When they were up 30-21 I was constantly picturing the final score of 31-30 following a failure by this offense to come up with a clutch win.
4. Love that the crowd was chanting bullshit, but the illegal contact call on Welker was the right call.
I really wish we all had the networking/outsourcing necessary to boycott the NFL for just one week to get the referees back. It is an absolute joke, the game is barely watchable. Goodnight and I sure hope the next time these two teams meet there will be referees that know what they are doing and aren't intimidated by the moment and crowd. It's a shame Smith's performance will likely be overshadowed by the officiating.

I started a facebook page for fans to protest the replacement refs and bring back the real NFL referees...

Thanks for letting us all know that if the goal posts were entirely differently designed that the Ravens probably would have lost.

Yes. Designed entirely different. Because being a foot longer makes it an entire different design.

Saw that. That would be freaking huge just based off his presence alone. Hopefully he's further along than we all think.

It would have been good still. It's a bit of an optical illusion when watching from the angle they show, but if you look close enough, you'll see that when the ball is even with the goal post, it's about 2 feet inside of it.
