Let's go!!
Ridley inactive? He has been solid for the Patriots. Clearly they want the safety of Green-Ellis (the guy never fumbles) over a more explosive ground game. Green-Ellis is pretty vanilla.
With Ochocinco inactive, the Patriots only remotely deep threat is Branch. Not surprisingly, the Patriots are going all in on the dink-and-dunk TE show.
Hernandez played running back last week and had good success
65 minutes till game time. Getting so amped up!
Hustle hustle hustle hustle aaaaaaahhhhh!
I'm looking forward to the Webb-Welker matchup. I hope Williams doesn't get beat by Branch's double moves. He's a wily old vet.
Ridley is the Pats' most talented RB by far. With fumbles in 2 consecutive weeks, however, there's no way Belichick would have let him see the field in a playoff game against an opportunistic D like the Ravens, even if he had been active.
Tiquan Underwood is by far the team's fastest -- and theoretically their most dangerous -- outside receiver. But, so far, that has only been theoretical. I don't think the Ravens have much to worry about there.
Branch might catch a few balls but he has been a non-factor for the Patriots most of the season. He is good on those long third-downs but the Patriots don't face that much.
The MadMan is officially stoked......
