I never watched the show...I know, I know,... But I liked him as an actor in other things I saw him in. We all have to go, it seems like he lived a fun life, albeit too short.
Just saw it, shocking. Great actor, RIP
Never watched it either. Don't want to sound crass, but it doesn't affect me, other than he isn't much older than me. Either way, too you to die.
Love the Sopranos. But he was excellent in particular.
Not a good thing to hear tonight.
He seemed like a good guy too.
He was so young.
My cousin just had a heart attack.
Life is short.
RIP JAMES/TONY
He was too damn heavy for too damn long and he knew it. Gandolfini has tried to lose weight recently but it wasn't enough. We saw the same thing with Michael Clarke Duncan last year who also was a great actor who died way to young. It's very sad but hopefully others will learn from this and change their lifestyles.
Probably the best tv actor to grad our screens in my short life IMO
The Sopranos and The Wire are two of my all-time favorite shows. I can literally re-watch every episode and enjoy them just as much as the first time I watched them.
Legitimately bums me out. He was a good guy too. Did a lot for the state of New Jersey and Rutgers.
Probably one of my all-time favorite actors.
Heard about this late last night. Shame. Great actor but seemed like a generally good down to earth dude, despite also being best known as Tony Soprano. He was far better actor than most realize.
Going to have to bust out the Sopranos for my yearly marathon, timing seems appropriate.
I had planned starting it next Friday after my exams.
well... now we know how it ends...
