I still got faith in this team when they play at home....well kinda. Ravens 31 Broncos 24
And they've won 3 games by 6 points total (NE, KC, DAL)--at least 2 of which they should have lost. Not to mention the Miracle of 4th & 29. You can be as much of a homer as you want, but don't pretend you've got logic on your side when you ignore more than half the data.
Denver 34
Baltimore 31
Ravens offense looks good but Denvers looks better.
Can't bet against my boys.
Ravens Offense is up tempo the entire game. Rice gets 20+ touches and Torrey has a big game - Think NE game from earlier this year. Denver is not prepared for the, 'new' wrinkles Caldwell throws at them.
Denver - 30
Baltimore - 34
I honestly cannot come to a good decision on this.
I think the Ravens can hang some points on the Broncos, because they're not a very good run-stopping D...so in that mindset, Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce should have a big day. If they can get those guys going, then that should open up some play action stuff...again though...no idea what Jim Caldwell has in store and how he is going to work the offense. There is a lot of pressure on him, Flacco, and Harbs right now...how are they going to respond?
The bigger issue for me is that D. Man, they can't stop Kirk Cousins...how are they going to stop Peyton Manning? I know that Peyton doesn't have the zip on his passes anymore, but he still has excellent accuracy, he gets rid of the ball quickly, and he is one of the best I've ever seen at anticipating where the receiver is going. It is a shame that he probably won't coach because that man's mind is just incredibly unique when it comes to offense.
Peyton knows Caldwell.
Caldwell knows Peyton.
Our D is hurting.
Our O may finally be unleashed once more like at the beginning of this season.
Denver has a strong D to go with Peyton who's always killed us.
The game is at home where until recently we looked unbeatable.
But we have lost recently at home.
Man...this one is really tough to call.
Alright I'll go with 34 - 31
RAVENS
33-30 Ravens
Solely on a 49 yarder by Tucker as time expires. Caldwell doesn't shut down the O and prepare for OT like a certain other moron, we drive down and win on a long boot.
Broncos 31, Ravens 24
I think the players are as relieved as the fans are that Cameron is gone. I expect a fired up group.
37 - 24 Ravens
If "good Joe" shows up, and Caldwell can make some effective tweaks to Cameron's offense:
Ravens 38
Broncos 35
If "bad Joe" shows up, and they turn the ball over multiple times (see Redskins game, second half):
Ravens 17
Broncos 35
The defense remains a non-factor. Winning is all on the offense (a special teams play or 2 wouldn't hurt, either).
