This is just awful. First the Steelers RB coach and now this.
As a parent my heart goes out to coach Philbins.

Wow. That's awful.
OMG, that is so sad. I remember when Coach Zimmer's wife died during the season a few years back and also Tony Dungy's son's suicide.
My prayers are with Joe and his family.
Oh my. His family is in my prayers.
My condolences to the family. I wonder how he ended up in the river alone.
That's horrible. Man that's horrible! Prayers go out to him and his family.
Sound like he thought it was frozen, but maybe not.Quote:
Joe Philbin spent Monday in Oshkosh, where divers recovered the body of a man between the ages of 20 and 25 from the Fox River in late afternoon after a security guard reported hearing cries for help from someone on the ice.
Sad.
Just a terrible story. A lot of bad news around the NFL since the new year. My thoughts are with his family
Indeed sad. How Joe Philbin is going to prep for this week's game is beyond me. I expect the Packers to play inspired football this weekend.
WTF was he doing out on the ice at 2am? I feel bad for the family, but this is death by misadventure. I fell through ice as a kid in Buffalo when I was like 10, the water was shallow, but I got soaked and learned a lesson. People have little respect for nature and the fragility of their own life.
