I wrote an entire fake AP story once on SunSpot about that character Room 222. It was about how he lived as a squatter in the sub-basement of Walt Whitman High School out in LA and that he had hacked into the school's network to post on Sunspot. IIRC I included some quotes from Pete Dixon and Principal Kaufman. Uh huh, you older folks know what I'm talking about.
Those in the know could tell it was a complete fabrication. That piece was so well written, though, with authentic AP tags (and no hyperlink source since it was fake) that it was taken down a few hours later after folks commented they could not find it on any other AP sites. <<Pats self on back.
