Re: Class Warfare's Failure
Also in a related matter, these 4 polls show
the country favors repeal of O BUMMER CARE.
Rasmussen has it at 55%.==
Um, article was written in Jan 2011 but
recent Rassmussen number is 56%, so
that's where it's been the entire year.

“There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there, good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for.” Warren Buffett.
Re: Class Warfare's Failure
Buffett is one of the biggest hypocrites in the country. He started getting rich on his own w/o any help from nobody and speaking of plants, Buffet bought one plant after he learned the owner counted all the sheaths on toilet paper he ordered for his plant. He had a contract with a paper company. When he found the company cheated him he canceled the contract. Buffet bought the plant because it was so well managed. He only buys things that are well managed so he knows a lot about plants.
He recently wrote his investors saying, "the gravey train has crashed." That's when the SEC approved Goldman Sachs desire to buy back Buffett's buyout money. He was making tons pr min 24 hrs pr day and on his own. It was a cash cow and Sachs wanted it back. And all that was after Sachs got a big hunk of Tarp money Buffett advised the President on giving out. heh heh.
According to his own book, MAKING OF A CAPITALIST, he was making more money in hi school than most of his teachers selling news papers and magazines and then hiring friends as contractors to serve other newspaper routes he supervised. He had a chest full of drawers stuffed with $100 bills and his mother knew to never touch it when she cleaned, but oh, he did need help. His mother served those papers for him on the rare occasions he got sick. As a child he made money picking up golf balls on golf courses and re-selling them.
In hi school he was making money on the stock markets and didn't like it when teachers asked for tips. So one day he told them to buy some stock he had on a local company.
He knew it was crashing so they bought the stock and then he sold right away. Nobody asked him for stock tips after that.
Did the same thing couple of years ago when he was on the board of Amheiser Busch and recommended selling to a German Co. The board and all the investors jumped on for selling and as soon as they did he sold his shares which pissed everyone off.
That was in July 08 just before the crash in Oct 08, and they lost their money but Buffett didn't.
Oil barons made their money out west moving their oil to the markets thru the desert and over hills after they first, found the oil beneath the surface when nobody else could, then they worked it bringing it up and then had to get it to the market place from the middle of the wilderness where there were no roads.
Buffett bought a big farm for a few thousand in high school rented it out to share croppers and sold it as an adult for millions. He owns many farms where the gov't is paying him millions for not farming. His son owns perhaps the biggest farm in Georgia, I think it's there.
These cats made plenty on their own.
But as for those roads, who do you think pays the most money today in taxes for those roads?
Guys that own the trucks going up and down those roads every day. The working class guy pays a small fraction of that.
Re: Class Warfare's Failure
Buffett is a great PR man and tells people what they want to hear. He knows buy and hold no longer works.
He buys companies and milks them for all their worth like with Busch,
Goldman Sachs, and in hi school above but today there are no such companies to buy. He made millions investing in American Express when it was about to fold, so when he was living in NY he ate out
and counted all the people that still used it. When he went home to Omaha he asked his pal who owned the local steak house if he could work the cash register. The guy knew better than to say no. Buffett wanted to count and know exactly how many used their AE cards and it was a lot. He then bought 49% of the company and he made millions from it.
Same when he bought shares of Disney and even after meeting with Walt himself. He took the kids to Disney Land and they thought it was a family outing which was really cool but it was for him to meet with Walt to buy huge blocks of stock in the company.
After meeting with Walt he took his daughter to Ny to see the latest Disney movie out. She thought he wanted to be with her but he took his brief case and made notes on how many people went. They went back several nights and it was packed out every night. He then bought major shares of Disney, on his own doing his own research in the field w/ no help from Walt.
Don't get me started on Buffett. He went vs everything his family stood for. His dad was a GOP conservative who was elected to the House for
4 terms and back when the DEMs still had control. They were Christians as both parents taught Sunday School but Warren hated church and God
because he was afraid of death and he blamed God for his greatest fear.
When his father died he became an athiest and liberal dedicating to destroy everything his dad fought for in Congress.

That was not Warren Buffett. That was Elizabeth Warren a woman who is a borderline commie.
