If these were your best seven options at pick 32, you would take...
Play along with my annual game. Assume that these are the best seven options available to you with the 32nd pick.
Assume that guys you may have liked better than these players are all gone (even if you didn't expect them to be gone), and no other team is willing to work a trade with you--neither up nor down.
Which one of these seven players would you most want the Ravens to draft with their first-round pick?

Jason Elam is a retired place kicker.

This...hehehe it's MATT Elam.
I'd rank them...
Hopkins
Cyprien
Elam
Eifert
Williams
Minter
Armstead I do want probably as much as Hopkins, but not at 32. I would trade back to 38-40 and take him there. Also, many here believe Minter isn't worthy of #32 either.

LOL. So much pressure to type up the poll questions after you already submit the initial thread.
Of course, I called Bernard Pollard Marcus Pollard two weeks in a row when rushing to write up a post-game report card.

I'll take Armstead.
By the way, for the position of "character actor," I'll take weird-eyed Jack Elam.

Matt Elam. All day. Every day.
Big hitter, can play SS or FS, good tackler, good deep-coverage ability, good ball skills.

I have no idea honestly. I have seen some of those prospects enough to have an opinion of them, but not nearlt enough to stack a board.
I love Jessie Williams as a nose tackle. I think he will be a 10 year stud there. Matt Elam really stood out in the games I saw. He reminds me of a young Ed Reed a little. Not sure what his times are but he has a burst to the football and seems to know his angles. I did not see Clemson play much but they were always lighting up the highlights and I like everything I read about Hopkins.
Re: If these were your best seven options at pick 32, you would take...
I love the idea of DeAndre Hopkins, Jessie Williams, Jonathan Cyprien, and Tyler Eiffert on the Ravens...
But out of that entire group, I think Matt Elam fits the Ravens the best.
Spending a first rounder on Terron Armstead would be a big reach IMO. 2nd round is a possibility.
Re: If these were your best seven options at pick 32, you would take...
Had to vote eifert because he is the only consensus first rounder. All the other guys are borderline. I think eifert represents more value at 32 than the others.

Armstead is a top half of 2nd round pick. I am 99% sure he won't be there at 62 when we pick.

I voted Elam, mostly because I think safety is a bigger need. But I like what I've heard and read about Swearinger in that spot. Maybe drop back and take in 2nd round?

Fine and dandy, but taking a small school guy who was a workout warrior in round 1 is a big risk and I'm not sure the Ravens would go for that.
Also, I think a lot of folks think that because Armstead is athletic, he can play LT. I'm not so sure.
