Should we/Will we use the Tag on Someone Else?

What say you ?

I don't know how much that would be for Kruger and prolly too much --but --it would be interesting to keep him for one more year to see how he follows up his great 2nd half of the year.

Ozzie has already said no about this. If anyone, it would be Ellerbe, but nobody is really eligible for it IMO.

Would love it to be used on Ellerbe to give time to work out a deal, but probably not worth it

The other option is Ed Reed for one final year to be our Leader in the Locker Room since T Sizzle seems to be a little crazy and hot headed to handle it ;)

I guess I missed this but I don't recall him saying he wouldn't tag someone.

If anyone gets it, Ed Reed is most likely.

I remember going over this before here and it would definitely cost too much. He'll test the market or sign at a discount.

Can't see Reed getting the tag. It would give him a salary far above his market value.

I can see either Ellerbe or Kruger so they can stay together one more year. Sign one, tag the other so we can sign him after next season.

The state of Ravens press conference. He was asked if there are any other candidates, and he bluntly stated "We will not franchise tag anyone if we get the deal with Joe." Or words to that affect.
