Odds of winning the Super Bowl have dropped from opening 10:1 to current 16:1.
Perhaps we'll see a spike if Casey Rabach dons a purple uniform again!

once again Vegas thinks very highly of the Chargers
I think thats a good thing, if I was a betting man.
I think we're a better team now than we were 2 weeks ago. Trim the dead/aging weight. Our core players that will determine our success are still experienced players (Flacco, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Haloti Ngata Terrell Suggs, Michael Oher, Ben Grubbs, Marshall Yanda, Anquan Boldin, and Ray Rice).
I love how the Redskins dropped from 40:1 to 100:1. It seems that there is little faith in John Beck as their starting QB.
Just means more money for me when I win!:rocking:
It's not about that, it's about other teams improving themselves more through free agency. The Pats, Jets and Eagles all took pretty big steps forward and eat into our portion, cause they won't eat into other teams that are already 50:1 or something crazy like that.
If you're not moving forward, you're falling behind, according to most. Thing is, this year, I don't buy that to be the case with the shortened off-season.

My book has the Ravens season win total set at 10.5, was 11 just a few weeks ago.
We're favored to win our division though.
Odds to win the 2011-2012 AFC North Division
Thu 9/8 5:00PM (PST)
14085 Baltimore Ravens -160
Odds to win The 2011-2012 AFC Conference
Sun 9/11 12:00PM (PST)
14041 Baltimore Ravens +800
Odds to win Super Bowl XLVI
Mon 8/8 5:30PM (PST)
11205 Baltimore Ravens +1700
Funny thing is, my book has us favored to win the division but 8-1 to win the afc while Pittsburgh is 4.25-1.
Guess they are thinking we don't get by them in the playoffs again?
Betting Lines =/= Team Strength
Change isn't necessarily a good thing in the NFL.
With the shortened offseason, teams with talent in-house and teams with the same coaching staffs do have an advantage...
[Insert Cam crack here!]
I think we're betting that our promising young guys that have had a year or two in the ravens system may be more ready to go, right away than a middle-tier FA signing.
