For whatever reason, I didn't think Stafford would be this good. I have seen his numbers but I just didn't believe it. Over 5,000 yards this season which I believe is 4th best in history. This kid is good!

I never thought he'd be healthy enough to get so good. I think there is a passing of the guard in the NFL right. Over the last decade the AFC had hands down the better QB's. The tide is changing to the NFC now and its not even close.
With greats young QBs like Rodgers,Stafford,Newton,Ryan, looks like the Power is switching to the NFC
Rodgers
Brees
Stafford
Eli Manning
Brady
Rivers
Roethlisberger
Flacco
Good list. Brady should be higher. If Cam Newton keeps it up, he'll leap frog a couple names on to the middle of that list.

Too bad he's getting zero help from his defense.
Give this guy 3 more years and sky's the limit. No doubt that Brady should be over Eli.
I am not sold. Anyone with a WR that is as tall as CJ can toss jump balls out there all day long. Johnson makes him look better than he really is.
I'd say he's the real deal. He threw for 380 yds and 3 TDs while losing but had 2 INTs and a 97% QB rating.
Yea, CJ caught two jump balls for TDs but they were short passes of 10 and 13 yards. Heller also caught a TD from Stafford that wasn't a jumper.
Point is, Stafford moved the team and might have won with a good secondary. Meachum was all alone for a bomb. NObody within 25 yds. Sproles ran up the middle untouched for a Td ala Ray Rice. DET still has some
gaps to close.
Hard for Stafford to beat that. He can't play defense too.
In a few years he'll surplant Brees as a top QB and everyone else except Rogers.
Nobody in the NFC plays defense. All if their numbers are inflated.
