Fagers Gazebo is down....
It's a rumor. It's still standing.
It's underwater though .....

OC is getting absolutely hammered, and the storm still isn't here yet.
I use a weather-fanatic's web site in Timonium a lot
http://www.timoniumweather.com/wx6.html
.27" of rain in the last hour
I've got the above ground pool cover flapping in the breeze 15' of egde has pulled loose.
So many leaves in it now that its pointless to do anything.
Liner has a tear... don't think anyone will notice the extra groundwater even though it was a lot of gallons.
But that while an aggravation, is minor, sump pumps are working and indoors is dry.

According to our on air interview (Maria & Me) with Mike "Batman" from Ocean City...the pics floating around of the Fager's Island Gazebo...that's NOT the Fager's Gazebo. It's a Gazebo just north of Fager's. We trust his take on things...
From a friend:

TV just showed pics of that Gazebo in OC and half of it is under water. That was a couple of hours ago.
It said that much of Atlantic City is under water.
Ch 13 said it would be worse hurricane ever. So far so good with our power still on but Im holding my breath.
Last year it was off for a week with that hurricane Just checked the basement and it's OK with the pumps still running but if power goes out.....
I'm in Harford too with a tree studded lot.
Those big oaks are swaying like crazy and not just the branches. I mean the entire freaking tree is swaying straight
toward the house.
My nephew is an appraiser for an insurance co and he expects to get thousands of claims when the storm is over. He
and his partner cover houses from Harford Co to Dundalk.
The Guv is on TV and said he is closing the Bay Bridge, Key Bridge and Tydings Bridge over the Susquehanna and a couple
more.
Over 24,000 homes are w/o power now and the brunt of the storm hasn't hit yet. He told everyone to stay off
the roads.
