So the fans are fed up with Boller, but it has nothing to do with Boller himself. Thanks for clearing that up. :grbac:Quote:
FH the point is that the fans are fed up with Boller
and not Mcnair. It has nothing to do with Boller himself.

it seems a lot of posters on this great message board like to nickle and dime every sentence.
but that's ok
I'll defend it as long as everyone is some what friendly about it :beer1:
Correct, his play on the field is what put him on the bench.Quote:

The Front office made that clear when they went out and paid for Mcnairs services that Boller wasn't doing well, to say otherwise that person would be in complete denial.
I don't think anyone has a problem with Kyle Boller personally.
At least I don't.
I think his arm will pay off for us in the long run.
I think Boller can still be successful under the right tutorledge and I think we saw some of that last sunday, but it seems he is still half baked.
I said you were being picky when you discount the Vikings, they are a playoff team if we don't beat them.Quote:
uh, aside from our division rival we didnt win against a playoff team.
Read the whole thread and then discuss. That would help bunches.
Heap86 made the comment that McNair spread the ball around. Of course Heap86 never actually bothers with the truth, but that's another argment. Stinger was just pointing out that McNair isn't exactly getting everybody involved around the red-zone.
At least Boller actually got the ball down to where we could get that first "lucky" break.
"I felt comfortable with Boller's play last weekend
and he always plays well at home
but we still lost that game.
If Boller plays a playoff bound team,
will we be under the assumption that we lose?"
Well we'd have to assume that McNair would lose because quite honestly he looked like total crap against the Broncos.
"The improvement with Mcnair is with his leadership.
Now it could be your opinion that Tampa is not a good team
but they were a Playoff team from last year
hardly crappy ."
Oh McNair has improved the leadership. That's what we got for 33 million dollars?
Because what I'm seeing in the stats is a 64 QB rating with 5 TDs and 7 INTs. 25th in passing yards, mainly because McNair is averaging less than 200 yards a game.
"I think by downgrading tampa you put Mcnair in a bad light.
IMO last year the ravens lose or tank that game,
history is on my side with that.
Throw in that we beat teams we are suppose to beat like
the browns,
which as far as I know Kyle Boller hasn't been able to do,
Chargers and the raiders the improvement is glaring."
Care to back that up with stats? Last year when the defense allowed 15 or fewer points Boller/Wright were 5-2. This year McNair is 4-1. So you see, history is not on your side. At all. You are making stuff up as you go and hoping nobody checks the stats and proves that you have lied.
Let's think about it. McNair has beaten one team with a winning record. I seem to remember Kyle beating a couple of teams with winning records last year, and in one game having to score 30 points to do it.
"But yes we need to see more offense from our offense
but that's not on Mcnair.
There are other reason such as the
Oline and a Offensive coordinator who was asleep at the wheel."
So wait a minute.
Last year all of our offensive problems were due to Boller, but this year it's all the fault of the exact same offensive line and the exact same offensive coordinator?
Simply wow.

Got any fan surveys to prove that point? I heard a lot of people who gave a polite applause when McNair was injured last game, then subsequently stated that they were glad to finally get someone with an arm into the game. And there was a rousing ovation when Kyle came into the game.
I'll give you a generality: there are about 1,000 fans left who think that McNair should still be starting, and most of them inhabit the message boards and talk shows. There's no more to substantiate what I just stated than your statement.:rolling:
:T2:
FYI - Mike Tice got fired primarilly for failure to maintain team discipline (and for not handling the press very well). After the bye week boat trip fiasco, Ziggy Wilf said that there would be "accountability". That eventually cost Tice and several players their jobs.
On to other issues Tex
1.) Please refrain from quoting entire passages of text. It is not necessary to do so just to tell someone that the made a "Good post". The practice wastes major expanses of window space, is tedious and irritating, especially when you make no substantive comment on the post you have quoted. Please limit yourself to small passages which you actually have something to say about.
2.) In rereading this thread, I have had to delete two of your posts for insulting other posters. I did not give you a "yellow card" for either, but there will be no further warnings.
3.) If I ever see you use your little pseudo insult "Bollerlovingland" again, I will give you a "yellow card" for that too.
Tex, have you on ignore for my own self-control but unfortunately Paulie quoted you and I saw it.Quote:
I have no theory on it but they obviously were and their coach (deservedly so) got fired after their sorry games down the stretch.
If you watch so much football how is it you didn't know the Vikings STARTED horribly and then finished huge. There only two losses down the stretch were to us and the Stealers. That is a pack of sorry games down the stretch, they finished 9-7 despite a 2-5 start. That is actually a big finish.
The hate for Boller is so huge that shit is just thrown against the wall in severe desperation to make his accomplishments look lame.
