They should move, but Wayne Weaver decided that the final piece of his legacy of failure would be to try to help his reputation among the nonexistent Jags fanbase by selling to someone committed to keeping the team in Jacksonville. However, it may be that the new owner is just saying those things until the sale goes through and will make a gesture of trying to stay in JAX but will move to LA in 2 or 3 years.
FWIW, the new owner has already gone on record and said he intends to keep the team in jacksonsville. Ironically he's a big St. Louis rams fan and even tried to buy them. Perhaps St Louis moves to LA and Jacksonsville moves to St LouisQuote:
