I can't believe I am the first to post this.
Watching ESPN this morning, Stuart Scott just said that after last nights INT, that Ed Reed has just taken the #1 spot on the all-time INT return yards. This is the closest link I could find, but it hasn't been updated since last night.

Sorry GOAT, but Ed Reed is the Greatest Of All Time.

It was mentioned in the game commentary - 14 yards more than Rod Woodson.
Re: I can't believe I am the first to post this.
Not that there was any question before, but he definitely solidified himself last night as a HOF'er.

Best safety to ever play this game PERIOD.

I watched the game at a bar, so that probably explains why I didn't hear it until this morning. Everybody was cheering so I couldn't hear that tidbit.

I heard it on the PA at the game: Set off a Re-e-e-e-ed cheer. My favorite standing ovation of the evening though was that for the Orioles players in the house.

It's either Reed or Lott. Very tough to pick between them.

So right. BUT if Ed had retired after the 2011 season, IMO he still would have been a HOFer. He wants/needs that ring to solidify his career as a pro. I think he may get it this season... Bc

I really hope so but I doubt we see him back with the Ravens in 2013.

I agree. I wouldn't say 'period'. There is an actual argument to be made.
