Makes sense to me.
These guys and gals are tasked with flying below the radar.
Biometrics seriously limits their ability to blend in, go unnoticed, etc.
I completely agree, but if these biometrics measures could really go a long way in border protection. Sometimes they pick illegals up on the border and then just ship them back to Mexico and there have been times when they probably had known MS13 or Cartel guy in their possession and they didn't even know it.

It's definitely a problem for those in clandestine service. These folks are probably used to simply walking / driving across the border. This certainly makes things more challenging.
But I don't see any increase in our border protection anytime soon. Especially in an election year where Obama will need all the votes he can get.
All those superfluous military installations in England, Germany, and Japan would be pretty useful across the Canadian and Mexian borders, huh?
