I agree he hasn't been good.
If they're not comfortable with their OG depth then he may be a cheap option though.

From Total Access: I'm told parties view Branden Albert deal as "dead." Chiefs will now turn their attention to a long-term deal for Albert.

Well at least Alex Smith will be getting plenty of time back there.

Albert was asking for too much $$$ and the Chiefs were wanting a high draft pick.

Maybe.
Albert pretty much said that he is a LT and that's that. Hey may come down with a "phantom" injury, not play a whole lot this year, and then hit free agency next year.

They'll probably just go with Albert at LT and play Fisher at RT. I doubt Albert would risk faking an injury, he'll drive his price down come next offseason from other teams. That would be one heck of a tandem, same in Jacksonville, I expect them to put Joekel at RT, as Monroe is a fantastic player at LT.

Dolphins highest offer was a 3rd round pick. Chiefs apparently wanted a 2.

The proper medical term is "Gaitheritis".

They said when they drafted Joekel that he would be at RT this year with Monroe at LT. These teams with weaker QBs really have to try and protect them if they are going have a chance so it makes sense. Next season these rookies should be a lot better and ready to move to LT

Eagles release WR Marvin McNutt.
I know some here wanted to draft him last year.
Big body, supposed to have good hands I think.
I wonder if he was on the Ravens board last year.

The Eagles cut him last year too and no team was interested. I think he then ended up on their practice squad. Love his size but teams just don't seem to like his game.
