No.
And that's unfortunate because IMHO, he had the talent and should be in the serious conversation.
For that guy to have that much talent and only make 3 Pro Bowls over 10 years was a waste. McAlister should have been a perennial pro bowler and talked about up there with Champ Bailey and Charles Woodson as the best CB's of the previous decade.
Re: Does Chris McCalister make the HOF?
McAlister won't make the Pro Football HOF (it's not the "NFL HOF") but he certainly was the best CB in football at different points in his career. His combination of size and speed made him the most complete CB in the game at times as well. As RiW stated, he certainly wasted alot of that talent. His off the field antics are well documented and could definitely come into play with regards to the RoH.
I think some here are undervaluing just how good he was when he was healthy and his head was on right.

Not every player is a Ray Lewis, Reggie White, Darrell Green, or Rod Woodson. If we had to narrow it down using the "if you have to think about it" axiom, then the HOF would have about 70-80 players in it and we might go a year without having a single player voted in.
I don't think that's such a bad thing. It would make it a much bigger honor and an even more exclusive group.

That is not accurate. Writers vote for the HOF. Players, coaches, and fans vote for the Pro Bowl.

Word...What was the question again? Oh yeah Cmac in the HOF...as others have said not a chance in Hell! I don't even see the Ravens inviting him back to be inducted into the ROH

Following the criteria posted on BR.com, it's hard for me to say he's RoH worthy.
Agreed...

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAno
This isn't the Hall of Good. McAlister was really good for a stretch of about eight years. He won't get mentioned and frankly he doesn't deserve to be.

Agreed. Unfortunately, IMO, those times were too few and far in between for anyone (ie HOF voters) to give him any kind of serious consideration for HOF.
And, IMO, the ROH.
He truly had HOF talent, but he pretty much wasted it and was his own worst enemy.
