Re: Rumor Harbs to Michigan or Texas
These are some of the potential HC guys I like if this does happen (which I think is very low):
Mike Zimmer
Bill O'Brien
Todd Bowles
Ray Horton
Rich Bissacia (token ST coach)
Mayyybbeeee Adam Gase, not too sure.
My preference is an offensive genius, but there are no Chip Kellys/Trestmans/McCoys available this year I don't think

David Shaw would be my #1 choice

I guess it depends on what YOU'D get in the trade!!! ;)
Re: Rumor Harbs to Michigan or Texas
The Harbaugh rumor will end the same way the Saban rumor ended. With them using it as leverage and signing a big fat extension to stay put.

He's pretty emphatic that he is staying put. Don't think he's bluffing

Dont forget Joe Lombardi!!!
Re: Rumor Harbs to Michigan or Texas
I didnt even think Chris Hoke was in any trouble. I know UMich isnt winning as much as the fans would like and they had a mediocre year this season but I would never have figured him to be on the hot seat yet. I mean it seems like he just got there.
Anyway I remember this story when it first came out and I laughed and laughed. And now seeing it again I am laughing and laughing again.
Re: Rumor Harbs to Michigan or Texas
I didn't believe it when someone posted this same thing a few weeks ago and I still don't now. I just feel if there was anything to these rumors then someone in the local media would have uncovered it and come out with it. Wouldn't be reading about it on a site called "Chatsports" and a forums.
It's not something any of us should really be concerned with anyway, if he left, Bisciotti and Newsome could literally name their coach out of pretty much any NFL assistant/NCAA coach out there. This is a top five coaching job in the NFL, even coming off the year we did, they would have no problem finding an excellent successor to Harbaugh.

It does make for some interesting entertainment but it's beyond ridiculous.

Beau, I'd prefer Antarctica, and I would gladly pay the extra fare... Bc

You're kidding, right? Was John Harbaugh on your list last time? Few had even heard of him. When Harbaugh finally does leave no one will be able to make a credible list of candidates for this team. Ozzie and Steve don't talk

I'm not sure this makes Harbaugh a "merc". I'd be surprised if it was only $20,000. Good freinds with guys who routinely hire speakers for Fortune 500 companies and they don't blink at 6 figures for a one hour event.
