I'd love to know where they got this from. From all indications there have been no talks about contract from either side regarding Flacco.
He may be looking for that, but I haven't heard anything about either side discussing it.

But, (hopefully) he brings the Lombardi home on Sunday, then what? Can the FO say, 'No'?
If he wins a SB then he will have all the leverage, if he doesn't, then who knows.
I think he's going to get around 20 mil per year.
He'll get at least 18mil/year without a doubt. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up getting 20 mil. 6 year 120 mil or 5 year 100.

Very true about the Franchise Tag. However, isn't the FT, ~$17M/yr? Not to mention, if a long term contract isn't agreed upon this off-season, i'm assuming Flacco's (and QB's in general) price tag will go up again next year.Quote:
