Ring of Honour one day?
Heap is getting in and was here a decade, JJ for 9 years so not a huge difference
I don't realy know, just throwing it out there
I always get a little sad when I read Jarrett Johnson articles, I read a great one on the Ravens website the other day that made me shed a tear or two. JJ was always one of my favorites, but we had no choice but to say goodbye to him.
He will always be a Raven and will retire a Raven, I'm pretty sure Ozzie will make it similar to when Derrick retired. I'm not sure about ROH, but it wouldn't surprise me if JJ ended up working on one winning drive or something when he retires. The saddest thing is, he never won a ring while being here, and probably won't with San Diego...
Heap is the Ravens all time receiving leader. JJ played a no frills position and much of what he did never hit the stat sheets. I cant see him going into the Ring
Yeah id agree. I love jj and he embodies everything it means to be a raven but frankly hes not worthy statistically. Roh is for the best of the best and i just dont think he was special enough as a player to warrant that. That said i wouldnt care if he was, wed just better have room for a lot more players in it if thats the case.
I loved JJ, but I think Upshaw will turn out to be a very viable replacement. He's already on his way!
Nope. No way.
Now Ring of Honor, maybe...:p
(Trust someone from the British Isles to misspell that. Do you folks get paid by the number of superfluous "u"'s you stuff into innocent words? Or are you simply pistoul-whipt by your UK spelchequer?)
FTR I would put JJ into the RoH on the strength of the time he folded Whines Hard up like tar&piss-colored origami...as the videomaker put it at the end of the clip, it never gets old! But that's just me. :D
RoH induction is not necessarily for play on the field.
It's also about community outreach. I'm not aware of anything JJ did off the field that would give him consideration.
He did work about animal welfare and highlighting animal abuse. Organized by Baltimore city mayors office
Nobody else on the team did it
Was a great thing to do

Irish please forgive him. I swear he will never do it again. I agree lobachevsky should never be able to sample the good stuff again for making such a horrible mistake as to insult an Irishman by calling him British, but think of the rest of us. The thought of tailgating without Guinness is too terrible to contemplate.
