Defensive line coach Clarence Brooks has constantly drilled the first-round draft pick from Oregon on how to use his hands to shed blocks, and to resist his natural tendency to bull straight ahead with his helmet and shoulder pads.

Ngata is a great building block to keep our tradition of stopping the run for a long time.

Like many of our acquisitions in the last couple of years, he also comes across as 100% class.
