Re: Welcome back TSizzle!
I'd bet he won't play this Sunday (even though we need him badly), he looks out-of-shape, and there's a BYE week coming up. While he may not play until mid-November (or later ?), it will be a great shot in the arm for our depleted defense. If Ray does not come back this year, and Sizzle ramps it up during playoff time, there could be a passing on of the leadership baton before our very eyes... Bc
Re: Welcome back TSizzle!
He's not playing.......I'm starting to think he likes the role of playing a drama queen.

If he intends on playing, why woudl he tell everyone?
Re: Welcome back TSizzle!
Why would you call Suggs out for being a drama queen? Damn fans really annoy me at times. :grbac:

I think it's the roller coaster (if you will) of emotions wondering if our defense has a chance at being better this week or not that equals drama. Suggs being the topic = cause in some peoples mind.
Re: Welcome back TSizzle!
C'mon, peeps. Let Sizzle be Sizzle. (Though I do admit to a moment of sheer panic watching that clip of him ambushing Sandusky & thinking geezus now watch him ***.)
*** Edited to redact a possibility I don't even want to think about...

They know that they don't have to make an immediate roster decision because of his PUP designation. If he does play I'm sure it's on a very limited snap count. He nor the Ravens at any point have said that he is not playing. Why doesn't anyone make mention of Demaryius Thomas making a quick return from an Achilles injury just last year.
Re: Welcome back TSizzle!
Doesn't Houston use a trap blocking scheme? Would that affect the thinking of whether or not to play Suggs?

Yeah, I don't get how teams consistently fall for their ZBS, Green Bay provided a perfect example of how to stop their zone block running scheme.

If I am the Ravens I don't play Suggs this weekend. If he doesn't play he has two weeks to continue his conditioning. Why rush it. I would also consider sitting Ngata so he can be ready for the stretch run.
