And even though the pocket was collapsed and the ball was tipped by a guy right Joe's face less than 1 second after the snap, "fans" like Sgt CouchPotato and his ilk will blame Joe for that I'm sure.
What happened to the blow to the head call?
Texans started this game tight, the crowd was beginning to boo. A first-rate team and coaching staff would have taken advantage.
To me, the Ravens are just too infatuated with the passing game.
Another INT now after the n-th tipped ball. Flacco in full "deer-in-highlights" mode.
Great play call. Great execution.:Flush:
The problem with the "no separation" theory, though it obviously is somewhat true, is that a good team or QB/WR tandem will have the ball get there as the guy gets a bit open. They throw it as the WR is breaking, to arrive as the WR gets his 2 steps. It is asking a lot to expect the guy to get open before you even throw it and for him to stay open the whole time the ball is in flight. On the Boldin play they showed, he was never wide open, but he was open enough to catch the ball assuming the ball arrived as he came out of his break. Obviously this takes extra skill and extra-work between WR and QB to perfect the timing, but it is what great passing teams do often.
Is Eric Decosta in charge of Raven's scouting?
